Special edition Polo can really pump out the jams.
Originally unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, the €15,975 special edition features a modestly revised exterior with a gloss black grille and special mirror caps. The hatchback also rides on unique 16-inch Syenit-style alloy wheels.
Bigger changes occur in the cabin as the special edition has a leather-wrapped steering wheel and special "beats" upholstery on the seats and door panels. As the name suggests, the car has been equipped with a Beats audio system that has been designed to deliver "crystal-clear sound."
The audio system features seven loudspeakers and a subwoofer that is integrated in the spare wheel well. The system also has two door-mounted woofers and two tweeters that are located in the A-pillars. Other highlights include an eight-channel amplifier and a digital signal processor. Thanks to all the upgrades, the audio system delivers 300 watts of power so drivers can "really feel the music."
The Polo beats will soon be joined by the Up! beats which is slated to go on sale this summer. That particular model has contrasting mirror caps, beats graphics, and 15-inch Radical-style alloy wheels. The Up! beats also has a multifunction steering wheel, special door sill plates, color-coordinated seat belts, and a Beats audio system.
