The stars of Fast and Furious 8 enjoy Cuba, while filming the latest installment of the action franchise.

The Fast and Furious series often sets crazy automotive stunts in exotic locales, and the eighth installment continues that legacy by heading to Cuba. Hollywood productions haven’t been able to film in the island nation for decades, but Vin Diesel and crew were the first ones to shoot there following the U.S.' friendlier relations with Cuba. A new video has given us a sneak peak behind the scenes at the jubilant atmosphere.

Cuba is famous for a unique automotive culture where vibrantly painted, classic American cars still exist on the roads. This clip offers a brief glimpse at some of those beautiful vehicles, and it shows the crew filming a drag race between two of them.

Unfortunately, we have to wait until April 14, 2017 before we can see the rest of the action from Cuba on the big screen. Other details about the movie's plot also remain thin, but the film’s Twitter account confirms actress Charlize Theron as a villain and Scott Eastwood as a protégé to Kurt Russell’s Mr. Nobody. Expect the rest of the family to return for the action, too.
