Garage Italia Customs has given the cutesy Fiat 500 city car a Pepsi theme for the Milan Design Week 2016.
It’s called the “Fiat 500 Pepsi “Live for Now” Car and as you can clearly see it wears Pepsi’s blue, white, and red colors both inside and out. It’s a bit too flashy for our tastes, but we’re sure some of the younger folks will like the street art applied on the Italian A-segment model.
The body wears a tailor-made wrap with a Pepsi blue film for the bottom of the car combined with a bespoke digitally-printed film for the upper half. We could do without those candy red accents on the wheel spokes and front fascia, but these were necessary to complete the Pepsi theme.
The interior cabin is home to a gear knob finished in the three colors while the two-tone blue & white seats are wrapped in Foglizzo leather with a special pattern to mimic the effervescent bubbles of a Pepsi. To obtain that bubble effect, Garage Italia Customs inserted a soft support inside the leather.
Also noticeable is the Pepsi globe applied on the headrests along with a red DreamLux textile for the door panels and the headliner to complete the splash of colors. While that headliner might not be as impressive as Rolls-Royce’s Starlight Headliner, it does look cool when light is conducted through the optical fiber woven into the material.
After the Milan Design Week, the one-off Pepsi-themed Fiat 500 will be exhibited at various events in Europe and will eventually hit United States as well. It’s worth mentioning this is actually not the first time when Garage Italia Customs creates a special 500, as last year we saw a 500e stormtrooper to celebrate the launch of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
