Ready to debut in Geneva
Mansory has taken the wraps off its new tuning program for the Mercedes-AMG GT.
Set to debut at the Geneva Motor Show, the model has been equipped with an aggressive wide body kit that includes extended side skirts, wheel arch extensions, and a sportier rear bumper with an integrated rear diffuser. The model also has a front lip spoiler, a ventilated carbon fiber hood, and a prominent rear wing. Last but not least, the car has been equipped with 21-inch lightweight alloy wheels.
The unique styling continues in the cabin as drivers will discover carbon fiber sport seats, red carbon fiber trim, and "carbon fabric" flooring. The model also has alloy pedals, illuminated door sill plates, and premium leather upholstery.
Under the hood, the biturbo 4.0-liter V8 engine has been equipped with larger turbochargers, a high-flow air filter, and a stainless sports exhaust system. The tuning firm also installed an optimized ECU which enables the engine to produce 730 horsepower. Thanks to the extra power, the model can accelerate from 0-62 miles per hour in 3.4 seconds before hitting a top speed of 205 mph.
For comparison, the standard Mercedes-AMG GT S produces 510 hp and accelerates from 0-62 mph in 3.8 seconds before hitting a limited top speed of 193 mph.
