Abarth has introduced a limited edition Tricolore package for the 595 in the United Kingdom.

Available on models with a red, white, or blue exterior, the package includes side stripes, black mirror caps, and red brake calipers.  The package also adds 17-inch alloy wheels with a titanium finish.

Interior changes are fairly limited but include a unique steering wheel with Tricolore detailing.  The model also comes equipped with air conditioning, a six-speaker audio system, and a Blue&Me connectivity system.

Like the standard model, power is provided by a turbocharged 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 140 horsepower and 152 pound-feet of torque.  It is connected to a five-speed manual transmission which enables the hatchback to accelerate from 0-62 miles per hour in 8.1 seconds.

Production will be limited to 300 units and models equipped with the Tricolore package will be priced from £15,150 OTR.

To help promote the package, Abarth has released a new promotional video called "The Real Italian Job."  It features three Abarth 595s which are used as getaway vehicles in a heist from Abarth's headquarters.  The video isn't terribly exciting but it does include a teaser image of the upcoming Abarth 124 Spider.  That particular model is expected to have either a turbocharged 1.4-liter engine or the turbocharged 1.75-liter engine from the Alfa Romeo 4C.
