Set to be shown alongside the recently introduced up! beats, the Polo beats will feature a modestly revised exterior with a gloss black grille and special mirror caps. Volkswagen has announced plans to introduce the Polo beats special edition at the Geneva Motor Show.

Set to be shown alongside the recently introduced up! beats, the Polo beats will feature a modestly revised exterior with a gloss black grille and special mirror caps.  The hatchback will also come equipped with unique 16-inch Syenit-style alloy wheels.

Moving onto the interior, drivers will find a leather-wrapped steering wheel and special "beats" upholstery on the seats and door trim panels.

Of course, the biggest change is the addition of a Beats audio system.  Designed to deliver "crystal-clear sound," the audio system has seven loudspeakers and a subwoofer that is integrated in the spare wheel well.  The audio system also has two door-mounted woofers and two tweeters which are located in the A-pillars.

The audio system comes with an 8-channel amplifier and a digital signal processor.  This enables it to deliver 300 watts of power so drivers can "really feel the music."

Volkswagen declined to release performance specifications or pricing details but the automaker reiterated the up! beats will have contrasting mirror caps, beats decals, and 15-inch Radical-style alloy wheels.  The special edition will also have a multifunction steering wheel, special door sill plates, color-coordinated seat belts, and the aforementioned audio system.
