Three days on from Ferrari, McLaren has become the latest team to offer an audio teaser of what its 2016 Formula 1 car will sound like.

Much like the Ferrari clip that was released last Thursday, the Honda engine that will power the newMcLaren MP4-31 was not revved high at all during the teaser.

The Woking-based squad was one of the last to pass the mandatory FIA crash tests, having only confirmed doing so last Tuesday.

The new machine - which the team hopes will be capable of improving on a dismal ninth place in last year's constructors' standings - will be launched online on February 21, the day before pre-season testing officially gets under way at Barcelona.
