The folks over at Prototype0 have managed to obtain juicy details about the upcoming Pagani Huayra BC.

While we are patiently waiting for Pagani to finally reveal the hardcore Huayra in Geneva, a reliable source has obtained info about the supercar straight from the automaker. The model’s “BC” initials will indeed stand for Benny Caiola as we reported at the end of last month and only 20 units will be produced. However, all of them have already been sold even though the car carried a hefty starting price of approximately $2.8M (€2.5M).

And now for the most interesting part, the Huayra BC is going through an extensive diet which will shave off 330 pounds (150 kilograms) from the regular model that tips the scales at 2,976 lbs (1,350 kg).

In addition, the biturbo AMG 6.0-liter V12 will go through some changes as Pagani’s engineers will squeeze an extra 100 horsepower over the current 730 hp.  There’s no word about the torque figure, but obviously this one too will increase compared to Huayra’s 738 pound-feet (1,000 newton meters).

With 830 hp in a body that weighs just 2,645 lbs (1,200 kg), you can imagine the BC will be substantially faster than the standard Huayra which needs 3.3 seconds until 60 miles (96 kilometers) per hour.

Besides the more power + less weight combo, the Pagani Huayra BC will also go through some body changes. The front fenders are going to feature two additional air intakes while the ones in the back will be widened. In addition, the side skirts are going to be reshaped to boost aerodynamic efficiency and there’s also going to be a new massive diffuser at the back. Moreover, a fresh set of wheels featuring a larger diameter will also be part of the package.

The main highlight however is going to be a newly developed rear wing working together with active flaps to generate 1,102 lbs (500 kg) of downforce at 155 mph (250 kph).

Pagani is also making some changes inside the Huayra’s cabin which is set to become sportier and to the same extent the modifications will be similar to the Zonda Cinque.

There could also be a roadster version of the BC in the future, but not before the regular Huayra Roadster due at next year’s Geneva Motor Show. The latter will be limited to 100 units and half of them have already been sold.
