Motorsport.com, a Miami-based technology and digital content company with offices in 15 countries, and Branded, a Puma company, today announced a comprehensive marketing and merchandising agreement that will make Branded an official category partner of Motorstore.com.
This unprecedented partnership is Motorsport.com’s first-ever in the segment, and Branded’s first partnership with a global digital media partner.
The new consumer merchandising line will focus on Motorsport.com’s ownership of F1 technical expert Giorgio Piola’s private collection, including over 8,000 drawings, which the company acquired last year.
As part of the agreement, Branded will use the Motorsport.com-owned Giorgio Piola collection to design, produce and distribute the merchandise in five continents and into over 120 countries. Further, Motorstore.com will officially carry eight different signature F1 team lines offered by Branded.
“As a global leader known for creating and developing the best Formula 1 racing merchandise in the market, we are pleased to welcome Motorsport.com and Motorstore.com to the Branded family,” said Paul Preuveneers, CEO of Branded. “The dynamic partnership showcases the best in e-commerce, technology, and global reach and provides fans of F1 racing all around the world the opportunity at a never-seen-before Giorgio Piola merchandise collection.”
“Motorsport.com and Motorstore.com are extremely proud that Branded has partnered with our global brands while valuing the great F1 technical expert, Giorgio Piola,” said Filippo Salza, president of international operations, Motorsport.com.
“Building upon Branded’s expertise in F1 merchandising design, development, and distribution is a natural fit with the most viewed motor sports website in the world, Motorsport.com. Our two companies are passionate about auto racing and by combining our resources, we have the unique ability to promote and strengthen each others’ brands while connecting to consumers all around the world.”
The exclusive Giorgio Piola line will be sold online on Motorstore.com and the Branded worldwide network in March of 2016.
