Designed to challenge the mundane and conquer new horizons, the XUV Aero concept is a crossover coupe that "takes the spirit of the cheetah and gives it an urban manifestation."
Putting the marketing hyperbole aside, the XUV Aero features an aggressive front fascia with LED headlights and mesh grille inserts. The crossover also has muscular fenders, a unique tailgate, and a coupe-like roofline that resembles the BMW X6. Other notable highlights include a rakish windscreen, a rear diffuser, and a dual exhaust system.
The company didn't have much to say about the interior but it comes nicely equipped with leather seats, carbon fiber trim, and metallic accents. The concept also has a three-spoke steering wheel, a digital instrument cluster, and a leather-wrapped dashboard.
Power is provided by a turbocharged mHawk engine that produces 210 horsepower and a "high" amount of torque. It enables the concept to accelerate from 0-60 miles per hour in less than six seconds.
Speaking of performance, the crossover has an adjustable suspension with Street, Sport, Race, and Off-Road modes. Mahindra says the system will help to ensure the model delivers sheer driving pleasure.
