Smart is introducing black and white special editions of the ForTwo and ForFour in United Kingdom.

You will have to contain your excitement for Smart’s latest limited-run models as the new duo isn’t really all that special. The ForTwo and ForFour black and white editions are based on the prime trim line and on top of that add the Urban Style and Premium packages. This means the two city cars come generously equipped with wheel-arch extensions, 16-inch Y-spoke black wheels, and a chrome-plated tailpipe for the exhaust system.

Moreover, the cars have brushed stainless steel sports pedals featuring rubber studs, and for your money’s worth Smart will throw in rear parking assistance and a height adjustable driver’s seat. Both cars share a leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel as well as heated and electrically adjustable exterior mirrors. Go for the more practical ForFour and you also benefit from rear privacy glass.

As the naming implies, the white edition has a white tridion cell, body and front grille, while the black edition comes with an all-black look. For an extra £100, you can order the Black edition with a contrasting white tridion cell.

Engine lineup includes the usual suspects, so you can either go for the 71-hp naturally-aspirated 1.0-liter or the 90-hp turbocharged 0.9-liter linked to a five-speed manual or a six-speed auto.

All of these goodies amount to more than £1,500, but you will end up paying only £895. Pricing kicks off at £12,360 for the ForTwo and from £12,855 if you prefer the ForFour. Smart UK says the new special edition models will start hitting dealerships across United Kingdom towards the end of next month.

If you’re waiting for something that is truly more enticing, the Brabus versions of the ForTwo and ForFour should arrive in March at the Geneva Motor Show.
