The GTA Spano featured in the movie Need for Speed (2014) is currently on sale for a rather hefty $1.62 million.

Built by Spanish automaker Spania GTA, the GTA Spano is an interesting choice in the supercar segment for those in the market to risk it and try out something different from a virtually unknown company. The yellow example that starred in the NFS movie is now for sale, but we warn you it has a prohibitive price of $1.62 million (€1.5M). In return for this serious amount of money you’ll be getting an utterly fast car that hits 62 miles per hour (100 kilometers per hour) in just 2.9 seconds and tops out at more than 230 mph (370 kph).

These performance figure are all possible thanks to a massive biturbo 8.0-liter V10 engine delivering an enormous 925 horsepower and 900 pound-feet (1,220 newton meters) of torque. All that power is transferred to the road exclusively through a seven-speed automatic transmission.

Authorized dealer Super Garage Marbella is selling the car and according to Spania GTA it’s the only one used on the NFS film set. The GTA Spano appeared in the movie alongside high-end automobiles such as the McLaren P1, Lamborghini Sesto Elemento, and the mighty Bugatti Veyron.

Keep in mind that at last year’s Geneva Motor Show we saw a revised version of the GTA Spano with an updated engine and a new seven-speed sequential gearbox. It also had a different carbon monocoque chassis shaving off some weight, but the performance figures remained the same.
