Faraday Future has released the first teaser video of its upcoming concept.

Faraday Future has released the first teaser video of its upcoming concept.

Set to debut at the Consumer Electronics Show on January 4th, the mysterious model appears to be a sporty sedan or hatchback that has aggressive side skirts and plenty of carbon fiber components.

Little else is known about the car but Faraday Future is a relatively new company that intends to launch a series of fully-electric vehicles that "will offer smart and seamless connectivity to the outside world."

That's not much to go on but the company employs countless engineers and executives who have previously worked at Tesla.  Faraday Future has also hired Richard Kim who was the lead designer of the BMW i3 and i8 concepts.

The company has been pretty secretive about its plans but the automaker will soon begin construction on a state-of-the-art production facility in North Las Vegas, Nevada.  Faraday Future will be investing a billion dollars into the plant and it will cover 900 acres and feature a three million square foot workshop.
