Al-Ain Class Motors currently has on display a brand new W Motors Fenyr SuperSport.

The Lykan HyperSport that starred in Furious 7 has now evolved into something more powerful and quicker. It’s called the Fenyr SuperSport and is powered by a RUF-developed twin-turbo flat-six 4.0-liter engine which generates 900 hp and 1,400 Nm of torque. The supercar comes exclusively with a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox and all the hardware is wrapped in an overly angular body. W Motors is quoting a 2,645 lbs (1,200 kg) weight thanks to a body made entirely from carbon fiber.

The strong engine combined with a very low weight allow the vehicle to complete the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in less than 2.7 seconds before topping out at more than 249 mph (400 km/h). This makes the vehicle achieve just about the same level of performances as the Bugatti Veyron, at least on paper as we don’t have proof the car can reach those numbers.

Production will be capped at 25 units and W Motors says the car was developed in collaboration with Magna Steyr while in charge of the Gundam-inspired design was StudioTorino from Italy.

Hopefully, W Motors will release some footage with the car in action to see if it lives up to the expectations generated by the press release. There’s one sentence that really caught our attention: “The earth shook violently, trees were uprooted, mountains felt and all binds snapped – Fenyr is free.”
