ABT Sportsline has decided to revisit the Audi RS3 Sportback and squeeze even more power.

The tuner’s original kit came out in August with an output hike for the 5-cylinder, 2.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine from 367 PS (270 kW) and 465 Nm (343 lb-ft) to 430 PS (316 kW) and 530 Nm (391 lb-ft). Now ABT has boosted output once again to a massive 450 PS (331 kW) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque.

Performance numbers have not been published, but the “compact superstar” probably runs the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 4 seconds taking into account the previous version needed 4.1 seconds. In addition, we estimate top speed has increased from 177 mph (285 km/h) to 180 mph (290 km/h). The power and performance bumps were achieved by implementing the ABT Engine Control unit and a sports exhaust system with quad 102-mm exhaust tips featuring a black chrome appearance.

The showcar set to debut in Essen later this week will also come with a matte red body featuring a pearlescent finish and a glossy black look for the lower half of the trunk. Moreover, the RS3 Sportback by ABT will ride on the tuner’s 19-inch ER-F forged wheels shod in 235/35 ZR19 Continental tires. The aftermarket specialists have also brought the vehicle closer to the road by 30 mm at the front and 25 mm at the back thanks to a custom set of lowering springs aimed to improve handling.

Stepping inside the cabin, it has been dressed in Alcantara with silver seams combined with plenty of carbon fiber trim and silver accents on the seat lining, door beads, seat buckets, and on the center console.

The Audi RS3 Sportback by ABT Sportsline will premiere on November 27 and is going to be showcased together with an upgraded TTS Coupe.
