Mercedes-Benz has released five promotional videos with the facelifted SL ahead of its premiere later today at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show.

A press release will be out in the next few hours, so until then all we have are the attached images and videos showing the subtle yet effective revisions applied to the posh roadster. The SL is not exactly the most beautiful car Mercedes-Benz has on sale today, but these cosmetic tweaks make it look more appealing thanks to a revised front fascia taking influences from the AMG GT. The LED taillights now have all-red graphics and there are also some subtle changes to the bumpers for both standard and AMG models.

The interior cabin has also gone through some minor revisions, but there’s nothing to write home about. We are sure Mercedes-Benz has implemented its latest crop of safety and assistance systems along with the newest generation of its COMAND infotainment system boasting a larger screen. There’s a new controller for selecting one of the available driving modes (Individual, Comfort, Sport, Sport+ and Race) and you will also notice a new watch on the central dashboard.

Mercedes-Benz has promised to offer “more powerful engines” and a nine-speed automatic transmission while the Active Body Control system with curve tilting function will also be available.

Check back later today for the full technical specs.
