Nissan will use the Los Angeles Auto Show to announce the expansion of their Color Studio personalization program to the 2016 Versa Note.

Like the Juke, the Versa Note Color Studio will enable buyers to select a number of different interior and exterior styling accessories which are available in six colors including Black, White, Red, Black-Purple, Orange and faux Carbon Fiber.

Exterior options include a front lip finisher, door handle covers, mirror caps and 15-inch alloy wheels.  Customers can also order a tailgate-mounted spoiler and colored wheel center caps.

The interior can be customized with air vent rings, speaker rings and trim appliques.  Other customization options include a rearview mirror cover, kick plates and special floor mats.

The styling accessories will be available la carte and their costs can be added to the purchase or lease price so they'll be rolled into the payment of the vehicle.

As a refresher, the 2016 Versa Note starts at $14,180 and features a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 109 bhp (81 kW) and 107 lb-ft (144 Nm) of torque.  It can be connected to either a five-speed manual or an Xtronic continuously variable transmission.  With the latter gearbox, the car returns 31 mpg city / 40 mpg highway.
