A prototype of the Fiat Tipo hatchback has been spotted during tests prior to official premiere, expected to take place next year during the Geneva Motor Show.

The Italian company is working hard on the new vehicle and this is the first time we see it wearing its production body. Earlier this year a test mule of the model was spotted during tests in Italy, while this heavily camouflaged prototype was snapped somewhere in Turkey.

It’s not hard to imagine the hatchback will feature a similar front end like the production Tipo while a shorter overhang and different taillights are expected at the back. The interior and engine lineup will likely be carried over from the sedan.

Speaking of design, Remco Meulendijk has provided a pretty good rendering of how the model could look like.
