Rinspeed has released first two teaser images of its new concept, the Etos that will make its world premiere during the CES 2016.
The Swiss company will stage the debut of a new model outside the Alpine country for the first time in its history, using the 2016 CES in Las Vegas. The Etos is a study for a driverless car with its steering wheels folding in autonomous mode. The two curved widescreens individually move closer to the occupants to provide a better view.
To provide the passengers with “a unique infotainment experience”, the Etos uses the Harman Connected Car system that operates in “a thinking, courteous and anticipatory manner.”
The Etos has been developed in partnership with 25 companies, including Borbet, Harting, Rehau, Stahl and other. More details are expected as we are closing to the vehicle’s debut, scheduled for January 6 next year.
