Bentley has released a new video that shows a Continental GT V8 S Convertible racing a train from Riyadh to Dammam.

Designed to pay tribute to Captain Woolf Barnato who raced the ‘Blue Train’ from Cannes to Calais 85 years ago, the clip features Steven Kane as battles against the desert train.  In the end, Kane completed the 480km (298 miles) trip in four fours and fourteen minutes which put him six minutes ahead of the train.

According to Kane, "Four hours is the same time as a stint at Le Mans.  But this was far more stressful. The heat, the conditions, not knowing where the train was, while driving within the limits of the country’s regulations.   It was a race like no other. I hope Barnato would be proud.”
