Tesla CEO Elon Musk has revealed he doesn't think much of Apple's rumored electric vehicle.

Speaking to Handelsblatt, Musk said they joking call the tech company the “Tesla Graveyard" because they hire people that Tesla fires.  As he explained, "If you don’t make it at Tesla, you go work at Apple."

The executive also downplayed the rumored iCar by saying vehicles are hard to create and Apple can't just outsource production to someone like Foxconn as they would with iPhones or iPads.

When asked about the Porsche Mission E concept, Musk said the first time he saw a diagram of it he thought "it looks exactly like our car."  However, he says that's fine as the model helps to "accelerate the advent of sustainable transport."

Musk as criticized their partnership with Daimler and Toyota by saying the automakers made their programs as small as possible in order to keep regulators happy.
