Hyundai and Blood Type Racing have announced plans to introduce a customized Veloster Turbo R-Spec at SEMA.

Set to be unveiled on November 3rd, the one-off model features a carbon fiber widebody kit, a front splitter and canards.  The car also has “demon eye”  headlights, a rear wing and 19-inch SSR Professor TF1 wheels with Toyo Proxes R888 tires.

The interior goes in a different direction as it boasts Sabelt seats, a four-point roll cage and four-point harnesses.  The model also has a Sabelt steering wheel and a Rockford Fosgate audio system.

Power will be provided by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine which has been equipped with a Garrett turbocharger, a new intake manifold and a methanol/water injection system.  There's also a custom intercooler, a sports exhaust system and new engine internals. Thanks to these modifications, the engine will produce more than 500 bhp (372 kW).
