The high-performance Mercedes-AMG GT has been spied undergoing testing in Spain.

Billed as a street-legal version of the AMG GT3 racecar, the high-performance model features an aggressive front fascia, revised side skirts and a prominent rear wing.  The model also has a sportier rear bumper, a massive diffuser and a center-mounted exhaust system.  Last but not least, we can see lightweight alloy wheels that are backed up by a high-performance braking system.

Mercedes has been relatively tight-lipped about the model but AMG CEO Tobias Moers has previously hinted the car will be lighter than the GT S and have a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine that develops approximately 550 PS (404 kW).
