The 2017 Kia Cadenza has been spied undergoing testing in the United States.
Caught testing alongside a Lexus ES and BMW 5-Series, the prototype is heavily disguised but features a tiger-nose grille, an upward sweeping beltline and a new third quarter window. The sedan also has wraparound taillights and a dual exhaust system.
The interior is partially camouflaged but we can see the model will be equipped with higher quality materials and a more contemporary design. Notable highlights include wood trim, gloss black accents and metallic detailing.
Engine options remain unconfirmed but the 3.3-liter V6 is expected to carryover. There have also been rumors about a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine but nothing is official as of yet.
