Audi has launched a new website which will enable owners to quickly see if their vehicle is involved in the Dieselgate scandal.

Currently available exclusively in Germany - a global roll out is slated for the coming weeks - the site will enable owners to input their VIN number and see whether or not their car is affected. Alternatively, customers can contact their dealership or the company's customer support service.

Audi says the affected models are equipped with 1.6- and 2.0-liter EA 189 diesel engines with EU5 certifications.  The company went on to say the "cars continue to be roadworthy and technically safe without any restrictions."

While it's now easier to determine whether or not your car is affected, a solution won't be announced until later this month.
