Mitsubishi has taken the wraps off the facelifted 2016 Lancer.
Looking instantly recognizable, the 2016 Lancer receives a new front fascia with a revised grille and standard LED daytime running lights. The car has also been equipped with additional chrome trim, restyled wheels and a revised color palette that now includes Alloy Silver and Diamond White Pearl.
The cabin largely carries over but drivers will find updated upholstery, an improved navigation system and a new center console with a USB port. The entry-level ES variant also gains additional standard equipment including an automatic climate control system, a color multi-information display and a FUSE hands-free Bluetooth system.
Engine options remain untouched but models equipped with a continuously variable transmission feature a new CVT8 gearbox which promises to improve performance and fuel efficiency.
