The Rolls-Royce Phantom has been with us for more than a decade but a new report is indicating a redesigned model could be introduced sometime next year.

According to Automobile Magazine, the redesigned sedan will have a  "more modern" and imposing appearance with a taller grille and less formal C-pillars.  The car is expected to be offered in both standard- and long-wheelbase forms but the coupe and convertible variants will reportedly be dropped.

Little else is known about the car but it is expected to ride on the same aluminum platform that underpins the upcoming Cullinan crossover.  The model is also slated to use a BMW-sourced V12 engine but there's no word on specifications.
