Opel has introduced the Vivaro Surf Concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

Based on the Vivaro CrewCab, the concept features a brown and white exterior with blue accents, LED daytime running lights and a special surfboard bracket on the roof.

The interior is a tad less but exciting as it features the Irmscher Tourer Pack which adds black leather upholstery and silver contrast stitching to the dashboard, door panels and shifter.  The van also features an automatic climate control system, blue accent lighting, a Wi-Fi Hotspot and an IntelliLink infotainment system.  There's also a separate cargo area which  is "ideal for transporting wet or dirty utensils after a trip to the beach or to the mountains."

Power is provided by a BiTurbo CDTI that produces 140 PS (103 kW) and 340 Nm (251 lb-ft) of torque.  The engine also has a start/system which enables the van to return 6.1 L / 100 km (38.5 mpg US / 46.3 mpg UK) with CO2 emissions of 160 g/km.
