Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is showcasing in Frankfurt at 2015 IAA the MultiVan PanAmericana concept.

Although it's billed as a concept, it can very well be transformed into a production version since it stays very close to the base model, albeit with a slightly sportier body painted in Oryx White combined with Flash Red and black accents. It also boasts wheel arch mouldings and flared side sills along with a front metal underbody guard and beefier multi-spoke alloy wheels.

What sets this concept apart from the regular version is its capability of carrying the owner's motorcycle which can be easily inserted thanks to an electric load ramp and interior mounting hooks to make sure it stays put during transportation. As for the cabin, the middle of the seats is wrapped around in a rugged "Clip" upholstery with white and carbon decorative strips. Instead of a carpeted floor, the vehicle comes with an aluminum diamond plate to enhance the concept’s ruggedness.

Power is provided by a 2.0-liter turbodiesel engine with 204 PS (150 kW) and 400 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque sent to a 4MOTION all-wheel drive system through a 7-speed DSG and a mechanical rear differential lock.
