It appears to have the same light blue paint like in the previous set of pics only this time the car isn't installed on the display base. Instead, it appears to sit on a brochure showing the interior cabin which makes us believe this is indeed the real deal as the images were probably "leaked" online on a Chinese forum by someone with close connections at Volvo.

We don't get to see the rear end, but in the previous set we saw it's getting large C-shaped taillights, dual exhaust tips and big "Volvo" lettering on the trunk lid. Although not visible in these pics, the new S90 will be substantially larger than its predecessor and this should feature a more spacious cabin. Speaking of which, from what we see it's mostly sourced from the second generation XC90, with a beige leather upholstery and a two-tone dashboard featuring wood trim also applied on the center console.

The underpinnings are already known as the S80 replacement will utilize the SPA platform and will borrow the SUV's engines, all the way up to the T8 hybrid with a combined 400 PS & 640 Nm. All of the units will have four cylinders and most likely Polestar will release a spicy version later during the car's lifecycle.

An official reveal is expected before the end of the year, with sales to commence initially in China and then in other markets across the world.
