The facelifted Porsche 911 Carrera S has returned in a new unofficial video, recorded at the Hockenheim race track.

The attached video from NewCarsTest gives us the chance to hear the exhaust notes of the refreshed model for the first time. You can also notice how the sport button changes the sound of the centrally-mounted twin exhaust system.

As a refresher, the Carrera S comes with a twin-turbo 3.0-liter flat-six engine that’s capable of generating 420 PS (309 kW) and 500 Nm (368 lb-ft) of torque. As for the Carrera version, it has the same unit, tuned to produce 370 PS (272 kW) and 450 Nm (331 lb-ft) of torque.
