A new study released by Edmunds shows the Pontiac Aztek is more and more popular among millennial buyers.

With a face that only a mother could love, the Aztek is considered by many to be one of the ugliest cars ever made, right up there in the list with the Fiat Multipla. Nevertheless, it seems the huge success of AMC's Breaking Bad is making the quirky crossover more and more popular among millennial buyers who are in the market for a used car.

An Edmunds study based on Polk data has revealed the Dodge Magnum wagon had the biggest rate of millennial second hand car buyers through June at 28%, followed closely by the Chrysler Pacifica at 27% and the Chevrolet TrailBlazer at 26%, just like the Aztek which appears to gain traction among millennials. Edmunds analyst Jeremy Acevedo believes the Aztek's popularity has risen lately thanks to its appearance in Breaking Bad.

Interestingly, the same study states six of the top ten used car models with the biggest rate of millennial sales have gone out of production.
