Holden has released the first teaser images of the Commodore VFII.

Set to be unveiled on September 13th, the model is being billed as the "greatest Commodore ever built." The company didn't have much else to say about the car but the teaser images reveal it will have a familiar front fascia and a modestly revised grille with an enlarged Holden emblem.

Little else is known about the model but it is expected to feature an upgraded interior and a more powerful V8 engine.  There have also been rumors a high-performance HSV variant with a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 that develops 638 bhp (475 kW) and 604 lb-ft (818 Nm) of torque.
