Rolls-Royce has released the first teaser images of their new Dawn convertible.

Set to debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the Dawn is essentially a Wraith convertible with a modified rear end that has been designed to accommodate a retractable soft top.

The car will go on sale early next year and is expected to feature a twin-turbo 6.6-liter V12 engine that produces 632 PS (624 bhp / 465 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque. It enables the Wraith to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.6 seconds, so expect the Dawn to be slightly slower.
