Despite costing $300 less, the 2016 BRZ gains additional standard equipment including a rearview camera and a 6.2-inch Starlink infotainment system.  The latter features an AM/FM radio, a CD player and Bluetooth/iPod/USB/AUX connectivity.  The infotainment system also has smartphone integration as well as Starlink application including Calendar, Music Player, News Weather, iHeartRadio and Stitcher.

There's no changes under the hood, so drivers will find a familiar 2.0-liter four-cylinder Boxer engine that develops 200 bhp (149 kW) and 151 lb-ft (204 Nm) of torque.
