AvtoVAZ will reportedly reveal the new Vesta Cross concept during an off-road show in Moscow later this month.
Details on the model are still limited, but it will likely take the shape of a more rugged station wagon with several distinctive visual features. These include black plastic body cladding and probably a jacked up suspension.
The final production vehicle could hit the assembly lines in late 2016 or early 2017, if reports turn out to be true. It’s still unclear whether the model will feature an all-wheel-drive system or will be powered by the front wheels.
The Vesta sedan will be available with 1.6-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine in versions with 87, 106 and 114 bhp. The same unit could also be offered for the Vesta Cross.
