Bugatti is previewing their Vision Gran Turismo concept developed exclusively for the PS3-only Gran Turismo 6 video game.

It seems Bugatti is ready to join the Vision Gran Turismo bandwagon with a bespoke virtual concept which they say serves as a sneak preview for the company's new design language. According to Bugatti's head of design Achim Anscheidt, it was created not just for the virtual world, but also to be driven on a real track. So far we only get to see the NACA-styled air inlet which was created both as an aerodynamic element and as an "iconic feature" of the concept.

Details about what powers the concept are not available at this point, but Anscheidt says the vehicle is "exaggerated and extremely performance-oriented" and at the same time provides a first glimpse of Bugatti's styling evolution which will be implemented in future products, starting obviously with the Veyron replacement rumored to receive the Chiron moniker.

The Vision Gran Turismo concept will be displayed at the Frankfurt Motor Show and will soon be available as a free download for Polyphony Digital's GT6 video game.
