Renault is continuing testing the next generation Megane and this time a prototype of the model has been caught on camera in Germany.
Spotted by an IndianAutosBlog reader, the car appears to be similarly sized as the current model, but featuring a more aggressive and dynamic design, inspired by the Espace and the Talisman models. The test vehicle is still wearing a full body camouflage, but most likely it’s in the final development phase.
The all-new Megane will be offered with a range of familiar engines, including the turbo petrol 1.2 and 1.6 TCe and the diesel 1.5 and 1.6 dCis. Thanks to its lighter construction and updated units, the hatch is expected to grant customers with a better fuel consumption and improved dynamics.
We already know the French company will fully reveal its new model during the 2015 IAA in September this year. Sales are expected to kick off before the end of the year, while an estate version is due in early 2016.
