Opel has announced a series of updates their 2016 lineup of light commercial vehicles.

First up, the 2016 Vivaro Combi will be offered with a couple of new engines including a new entry-level 1.6 CDTI that produces 95 PS (70 kW) and 260 Nm (191 lb-ft) of torque.  There's also a new 1.6 BiTurbo CDTI engine that has outputs of 125 PS (92 kW) and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) of torque as well as 145 PS (107 kW) and 340 Nm (250 lb-ft)of torque.  Both engines are equipped with an engine start/stop system and a BlueInjection SCR system which makes them Euro 6 compliant.

Besides the new engines, the Vivaro gains several new options including Connect Black upholstery, a tablet holder and an improved  IntelliLink Navi 50 infotainment system - among other things.

Moving on, the Movano Combi gains a new 2.3 BiTurbo CDTI engine with outputs of 145 PS (106 kW) and 360 Nm (265 lb-ft) of torque as well as 170 PS (125 kW) and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) of torque.  Likewise, the Movano Bus has a new 2.3 BiTurbo CDTI engine with outputs of 145 PS (107 kW) and 360 Nm (265 lb-ft) of torque as well as 163 PS (120 kW) and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) of torque.

Last but not least, the Combo Tour can be ordered with a new Euro 6 compliant 1.6-liter CDTI engine that has outputs of 95 PS (70 kW) and 120 PS (88 kW).  Despite being more powerful than their predecessors, the new engines are more fuel-efficient and eco-friendly.
