An upcoming Qoros SUV has been spied completely undisguised in China.
If you take a closer look at the photo, you will notice the car perfectly matches the test prototype spotted in southern Europe in June this year. The car appears to be slightly larger than the Qoros 3 City SUV, featuring the same ‘European’ design language just like all other Qoros models.
Nothing is official yet, but speculations suggest the vehicle will be powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged petrol unit, delivering 154 bhp (115 kW). It will be mated to either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The future of Qoros on the European market remains unclear as the brand has managed to sell only 51 cars on the continent last year. Officials declared “we will not fully give up on Europe” because “the European market is very, very important”, but no official decision has been announced yet.
