Cadillac is working on a number of new models and President Johan de Nysschen has revealed some new details about what we can expect.

Speaking to The Detroit Free Press, de Nysschen said the company will launch at least nine models by the end of the decade.  The executive was coy on specifics but confirmed we will see a new compact sedan,  three redesigned cars and five crossovers / SUVs.

That's not much to go on but the company's product blitz will kick off later this year when the company launches the new CT6.  It will be follow by the new XT5 crossover which will be unveiled early next year.  The rest of the models remain a bit of a mystery but we can expect a new compact sedan to slot below the ATS, an entry-level crossover and a flagship sedan that will be positioned above the CT6 and directly battle the Audi A8, BMW 7-Series and Mercedes S-Class.
