Independent designer Virtuel-Car has speculatively rendered next year's hardcore Jaguar F-Type SVR.

Already spied on numerous occasions, Jaguar's range-topping version of the F-Type will wear the "SVR" suffix and it will be even more intense than the R version. It will apparently be offered only in AWD guise with the 8-speed Quickshift automatic transmission receiving power from an upgraded specification of the supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine which should push out in excess of 600 bhp (447 kW).

There's no word regarding performances, but we estimate it will run the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in less than four seconds before topping out at more than 186 mph (300 km/h). There's also going to be a convertible version which will likely be a tad slower due to a slightly higher curb weight commanded by the roof's added complexity. Both will come with bespoke alloy wheels, stiffer & lower suspension, enlarged brakes and a more aggressive body with bigger air vents and a fixed rear wing to enhance downforce.

Jaguar is expected to stage the world premiere of the F-Type SVR in March 2016 at the Geneva Motor Show, but an online reveal could occur before. It's not known at this point whether they will show only the coupe or the open-top version as well.
