The stunning Maserati Alfieri concept has been rendered by our colleagues at OmniAuto.it in the convertible body style.

Developed to celebrate the brand's centenary, the Alfieri is certainly one of the most appealing concepts to wear the trident logo and we already know the confirmed production version will stay true to the concept. It will also spawn a convertible version which should look a lot like this once it will come out around the second half of 2017, approximately a year after the coupe.

These two models are part of Maserati's five-year revival plan (2014-2018) and both of them will be offered with a standard rear-wheel drive layout and an optional AWD setup. Word on the street says the cars are getting a trio of V6 engines pushing out 410 PS (301 kW), 450 PS (331 kW) and 520 PS (382 kW).

Until the Alfieri duo is out, Maserati will introduce the Levante crossover next year while around 2018 there will be a new GranTurismo but only in coupe guise.
