Audi has detailed the entry-level Q7 Ultra 3.0 TDI that is already available to order in Europe.
Offering a combined fuel consumption of 5.5 liters per 100 km (42.8 US mpg), this variant is actually the most fuel efficient of all Q7s. It has a 3.0-liter TDI diesel engine, generating 218 PS (160 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque between 1,250 and 3,000 rpm.
Emitting 144 grams of CO2 per km, it is up to 28 percent more fuel efficient than its predecessor. Acceleration figures show the 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint takes 7.1 seconds, while top speeds stands at 216 km/h (134 mph).
Audi explains the 3.0 TDI Ultra motor differs from the more powerful 3.0 TDI with 272 PS (200 kW) in some aspects. The latter provides a 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) run in 6.3 seconds and a slightly higher top speed of 234 km/h (145.4 mph). The average fuel consumption is rated at 5.7 liters per 100 km (41.3 US mpg) with 149 g/km of CO2 emissions.
The Q7 3.0 TDI Ultra has a starting price of 58,000 EUR (63,565 USD) in Germany. Deliveries are scheduled to kick off in September this year.
