Mercedes-AMG has published yet another teaser image with its hot new product, the C63 Coupe.

Daimler's performance division has been playing the teasing game for quite some time, but the wait is almost over as on August 19 we will finally get to see the highly anticipated C63 Coupe. Mercedes-AMG has dropped another teaser shot with a camouflaged prototype and this time we get a better view of the rear end which thankfully won't be just a downsized S-Class Coupe. It gets a standalone design and hopefully it will look appealing once the disguise will come off.

The sleek design will be matched by a powerful heart as the Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe will use a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine offered in two states of tune: 469 bhp (349 kW) and 479 lb-ft (648 Nm) in standard guise and 503 bhp (375 kW) and 516 lb-ft (698 Nm) in the range-topping S specification.

Don't be too surprised if the S version - likely depicted here - will be slightly faster than the equivalent sedan which needs 4 seconds until 62 mph (100 km/h) and tops out at 155 mph (250 km/h).

The entire C-Class Coupe family will be introduced in mid-September at the Frankfurt Motor Show and sales should kick off shortly after that.
