Back in June we saw a production-ready R8 V10 in Santorini Blue and now a customer car painted in Mythos Black metallic (including the sideblade) was seen by an Autogespot member who took a few shots with his smartphone. It had the optional 19-inch five-arm twin-spoke alloys with a glossy anthracite black finish which cost an extra €1,000 and come wrapped around in 245/35 R19 front & 295/ R19 rear tires. We also notice the grey brake calipers and LED headlights which come standard on the new R8.

Power is provided by the familiar 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine pushing out 540 PS (397 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) channeled to a quattro permanent all-wheel drive system through a 7-speed S tronic transmission. It runs the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in three and a half seconds and tops out at 200 mph (330 km/h) while remaining relatively frugal as in the combined cycle it consumes 11.8 liters / 100 km (19.9 mpg US or 23.9 mpg UK) with CO2 emissions of 275 g/km.

Don't hold your breath for a manual gearbox as Audi has announced it's not coming back while the smaller V8 4.2 has also been ruled out. Instead, the supercar will receive a downsized turbocharged motor (possibly with e-turbo) which will serve as the entry-level version but that won't be out in the near future.
