The German aftermarket specialists at RFK Tuning have elaborated an upgrade program for a Volkswagen Golf 5 R32.

Gone but not forgotten, the Mk5 in R32 specification is definitely in the top ten Golf versions ever made, alongside with its predecessor. Seen here is an upgraded version from RFK Tuning with the V6 3.2-liter massaged to deliver an extra 20 PS & 20 Nm for a grand total of 270 PS (198 kW) and 340 Nm (251 lb-ft) of torque.

We don't know whether this particular car has the standard six-speed manual gearbox or the optional DSG, but nevertheless it should be a bit quicker than a stock version which runs the sprint in 6.5 seconds with the manual and in 6.2 seconds with the DSG. Top speed should also be slightly higher than the stock model's 155 mph (250 km/h).

Aside from infusing more power, RFK Tuning has installed 19-inch alloys with 225/35 ZR19 Pirelli P Zero Nero tires and there's also a KW coil-over suspension kit which has lowered the hot hatchback by a few centimeters and has improved handling as well.

Those who like the car should know it will be on display on Saturday, August 15 starting 9 AM at RFK Tuning's headquarters in Waldfischbach-Burgalben, Germany.
