Lamborghini has reportedly confirmed plans to introduce the Aventador Superveloce Roadster at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.

Announced earlier this year at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce Roadster will follow in the footsteps of the coupe and feature a 6.5-liter V12 engine that develops 750 PS (552 kW) and 690 Nm (507 lb-ft) of torque.  It will be connected to a seven-speed ISR transmission which sends power to the ground via an all-wheel drive system. This enables the coupe to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds before hitting a top speed in excess of 350 km/h (217 mph), so expect similar numbers from the roadster.

Production will be limited to 500 units and the company began accepting orders last month.
