Basically a Gallardo speedster, the one-off Concept S was unveiled in non-running conceptual form at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show and due to a very positive feedback Lamborghini decided to actually build it. However, they discovered it's too expensive and time-consuming to make the car and ultimately dropped the project.

Before it was cancelled, Lamborghini's engineers managed to convert it into a working car and over the years it has been driven for just 180 km (111.8 miles) so it should be in top notch condition.

Being a low-mileage, one-off Lamborghini, it shouldn't come as a surprise the Concept S is expected to fetch anywhere between $2.4 - $3.0 (€2.1 - €2.6) million at a RM Sotheby's auction scheduled for November 18 during their second Art Automobiles sale organized in New York City.
