Remember that Texan couple with 65 Vipers? Well, that number has now grown to a jaw-dropping 79 cars.

Remember that Texan couple with 65 Vipers? Well, that number has now grown to a jaw-dropping 79 cars.

Wayne and D'Ann Rauh have recently taken delivery of two brand new Viper GTC models customized through the "1 of 1" program, now bringing the grand total to 79 Vipers in their ever growing collection. They received keys to their new prized possessions at the Conner Avenue Assembly Plant in Detroit and as you can see one of the cars is painted in purple with silver racing strips while the other has a brown finish combined with black stripes.

The purple car is a bit more special as it comes with the optional aerodynamics package which encompasses a large rear wing, rear diffuser and a front splitter. We're not big fans of those chromed five-spoke alloy wheels as we prefer the brown car's silver set which suits the Viper better.

Both cars share the same massive V10 8.4-liter engine pushing out 645 bhp (481 kW) and 600 lb-ft (813 Nm) of torque which enables the Viper to offer the highest amount of torque in a naturally aspirated car on sale today.
